Frequently Asked Questions
-
A: Short answer - No. I do not require a doctor’s referral/prescription to start treating you. If you are using extended health benefits to pay for your treatment, your insurance company may request a doctor’s referral in order for you to be reimbursed. Please call your insurance company to find out if they require a doctor’s note.
-
A: Yes! MOST insurance companies will allow me to directly bill to your insurance company, either in full or in part. For example, they may cover 100% of the visit, up to a certain dollar value per year (e.g. $500 per year), OR they may cover a percentage of each visit (e.g. 80%). If they cover your visit in part, you are responsible for paying the remainder at each visit.
-
A: I accept credit card or etransfer.

A: I’ve treated as young as 4 years old (post-operative achilles tendon repair) and as old as 100 (severe knee osteoarthritis), and everything in between! If you are unsure if physiotherapy is appropriate for you, please reach out and ask. I would be happy to chat and answer any questions you have.
